Ways to put Periphon together. Boxes are components; lines are the cables between them, labelled with their connectors.
Sixteen powered monitors
The I16 on its own, with its own power supply. Its two DB25 outputs take standard DB25-to-XLR snakes, eight channels each, to sixteen powered monitors or any balanced line inputs. The I16 + Plate + Power bundle is this system's interface.
Sixteen passive speakers
The full system. The Hub takes one 12 V supply and powers everything: the Raspberry Pi 5, the I16, and four A4 amplifiers, each on its own ribbon cable that also carries the switching clock and mute. The I16 sends four channels to each A4 on a 2×8 ribbon, and each A4 drives four 8 Ω passive speakers from its screw terminals, a pair of wires to each.
